Goal/Purpose of Activity
The second annual AIMed Cardiology event will bring together clinicians and data scientists with an interest in artificial intelligence in medicine for a virtual meeting. Built around four core modules, the agenda will address data and databases in AI and cardiology; machine and deep learning in cardiology; natural language processing and workflow in cardiology; and issues in AI and cardiology.
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Discuss the different types of healthcare data, their limitations, and challenges around data privacy and security.
- Explain machine and deep learning in cardiology.
- Describe key ethical questions around artificial intelligence in healthcare.
