Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of radiologists.

Goal/Purpose of Activity

The second annual AIMed Radiology event will bring together clinicians and data scientists with an interest in artificial intelligence in medicine for a virtual meeting. Built around four core modules, the agenda will address data issues in radiology for artificial intelligence; natural language processing in radiology workflow; machine and deep learning in medical imaging; and essential issues in AI in radiology.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Discuss the different types of healthcare data, their limitations, and challenges around data privacy and security
  • Explain machine and deep learning in radiology
  • Describe the key ethical questions around artificial intelligence in healthcare
