What Is The Shark Tank Competition?

Abu Dhabi AI Med is inviting submissions from some of the most promising and impactful early stage start-ups from the healthcare eco-system to pitch to its very own panel of hand-picked expert Sharks. Abu Dhabi AI Med’s Shark Tank Competition will take place on Thursday 9th of April 2020.
How do I enter?
To enter, you will need to provide us with an elevator pitch on your proposed start-up business.
Submissions should be made using a template PowerPoint format. Please download and use this slide deck as a framework for your submission.
You can amend and edit the style of your slide deck with your own branding and colour scheme. Our slide deck is simply a guide to help you refine 11 slides, each detailing specific questions you need to answer. You can use the ‘notes’ function of PowerPoint for additional information.
These slides will provide us with an outline of your company and why it is unique. We will use these slides to shortlist candidates who will be invited to pitch live for investment at our upcoming Abu Dhabi AI Med conference.
We want to know how your company will “move-the-needle” in the healthcare sector. What makes your solution/product unique? This is your chance to pitch to your peers and gain industry recognition and acclaim (and valuable prizes!)

When is the deadline?
All entries need to be received by no later than 1700 BST on Thursday 26th March.
WINNERS & PRIZES
The top 5 short listed companies will be announced shortly after the deadline on Thursday 26 March 2020 notified by email.
Each of the shortlisted companies will receive 1 x free conference registration pass to pitch live at the event.
Shortlisted companies will be invited to present their 5 minute pitch to attendees on the main stage, and take a 5 minute Q&A with our panel of judges.
The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 USD. Our judges will select the winner using a specific criteria that will look at how the proposed solution solves a problem, its relevance to AI in healthcare, how it is distinguishable from other competing solutions and the business model.
The first 20 received and approved pitches will receive a 30% discount off of the main registration fee.
